Women and girls can have hemophilia. Learn about how hemophilia is inherited and the symptoms that women with hemophilia experience. The importance of building a relationship with your hemophilia treatment center and obtaining specialized care are also discussed.


HERO study workshop

HERO: Strength in Numbers

The HERO (Hemophilia Experiences, Results, and Opportunities) study surveyed more than 1200 people with hemophilia and their families across 10 countries about psychosocial issues and the effect of hemophilia on their lives. Using what was learned, this workshop shows how sharing experiences and ideas can help you and those in your community.
